What is GPS Tracking? It’s a method to let you know the exact position of someone or something important to you, such as your precious mobile phone or your kids by using the GPS tehcnology. There are a lot of different devices that are available even on the internet so you can easily get a GPS Tracking devices. If you look it from the safety’s point-of-view, then it sure is a good way to prevent bad things happen to them. But what if there is anyone that you want to track without them knowing that? Will it disturb the privacy of that someone?

Well, it won’t be such a big problem if it’s used for tracking dangerous criminals since we all know that it’s safer for us if they are all not prowling around the street. But if it’s your spouse that you are tracking, then it’s a different matter right? Since privacy is something that’s being protected even in the Fourth Amandement of the US Constitution, of course we can’t just use a GPS Tracking device to someone. If you think about it, you won’t be happy when you are the one being tracked right?

Now imagine a situation where you felt like being cheated by your spouse. Or maybe you are a boss and you have an employee that you don’t trust completely. Surely you will be, at a certain limit, thinking about tracking them when they are starting to do suspicious actions. At those time, of course you won’t be thinking about their privacy anymore.

So is GPS Tracking a crime or a method to avoid crime? It all depends on how you use it.
