File Extensions Explanations

In this vast world of computer technology, new type of files are always appearing almost everyday and it’s almost impossible for someone to remember all of them, not to mention explaining them. And as someone who’s studying computer technology, I’m occasionally being asked about various file extensions. Luckily I recently stumbled upon File Extension, a website that offers explanations for those file extensions, starting from a common DOC extensions to some unusual extensions such as EMZ or P7M.

By choosing or searching the extension you want to know, you’ll get most of the information you need. Although there are a lot of extensions there, not all of them are supplied with good information, such as File Extension MDI or File Extension P7M. Of course if you open up common extensions such as DOC, you’ll be pleased with the information they have.
Besides that, this site also offers a free registry scanner and cleaner called Registry Cleaner RegCur. This application can locate errors on your registry and fix them. It’s pretty simple and easy to use, so if you are in need of some registry fixing, might as well try it.
All in all, it’s a nice website with a simple design and lots of good information and I recommend it to those who need the informations they offered.
